^ Unless you're a hardcore collector, we're doing you a favor. This and the Book of Eli are atrocious movies.

I don't know about Book of Eli, but some friends dragged me to this one and it was one of the most horrid things I've ever seen. Visuals can only go so far - the action was OK. Other than that, nothing in this movie is right, from the acting to the script and everything in between.

If this was released elsewhere, I would probably pass on it, but as it is released here in Canada, it's hard to pass on it for the collection.

-1 I liked both these movies. Will be picking them up for sure. Good fun, and Book of Eli is the better of the two. Cool mindless action movies to enjoy

Anywhere to find this Steelbook online for pre-order? I can't find any mention of it on the Future Shop website.

Seriously, you need to watch more movies if you think that either of these films are atrocious. I can understand someone calling these underwhelming, but there were far too many worst movies this year.

Book of Eli is basically The Road with action and Clash of the Titans is still an improvement over the campy original (which even for a fan of Harryhausen is underwhelming next to his Sinbad movies and Jason & the Argonauts).

In the category of visual effects, and that's about it.

I will never understand why people argue opinions. I loved CoT remake. End of opinion.

Everyone has opinions. The point is to start a discussion about 'why' you like it or didn't like it, as opposed to, "CLASH OF THE TITANS is the best film ever, period!"

Otherwise, it would be a fairly boring forum board, wouldn't it?

That's the idea. And that sentiment is where the idea dies. Most posts replace I think or I believe with was and is. There is no point in responding. Even worse is responding with you're wrong it was this it was that. Then we have the devil advocates posters such as yourself. Rebutting for the sake of rebutting. Anyway, CoT remake I thought to be a bit more faithful to Greek mythology. Plus I preferred andromeda not being the love interest. Only part I missed the original Calobos seemed more menacing. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't seen it yet so I reserve judgment to share my opinion. I hear its awful, but I heard the same of Book of Eli and I thought it was a decent film
