Alright guys, i tried to use the video set up on the rat disc but when i click on it it shows me the menu for a second and then screen goes black and my samsung 1400 just says slide show on the screen on the player....how long does it take to start up? or do i have an issue with my player?

The 1400's latest firmware is having some issues with both Ratatouille and Cars. Don't panic...they'll likely get resolved with another update.
