It just goes to show how truly great the original 805 was and still is to this day.
the 805 is an excellent receiver. i owned one for a number of years and sold it about 3 months ago when i went complete seperates with the 5507. the new owner loves it as it gives hime everything he wants and it's his first real receiver with real power. That is the one thing i will say about the 805, it had real power, as close to it's rating as i think i've ever seen a receiver and i think it was one of if not the best of it's class and of it's time for the money and it was heavy as f'all too! that's a real receiver one with some ass to it!

like i said the new owner is very, very happy with it.
