I am in the market for a subwoofer isolator, and since Big Daddy probably wont give me one of his...
![]() Auralex and ED are the only companies I know of that sell them. I was going to get the Subdude but Amazon is out of stock. What would you guys recommend? Sub is 15x15 inches. |

Have you read through the DIY sub risers thread HERE? Risers work as isolators, and many of us have built our own. The advantages (aside from possible cost savings) are that you can create whatever size you need (15" x 15"), as high as you want or need, and ability to control the aesthetic appearence of it so that it looks good (and not out of place) in your setup. Doesn't mean you have to go that route, but definitely something to consider. The options truly are endless.

Doing a DIY Riser is surprisingly Very Easy, & that's coming from a NON-Handyman like myself. My front PA-120 Sub is on a SubDude, my rear one (pics in my Gallery) was a DIY Riser & came out great & looks very nice, IMO - as well as doing the Job it was intended to. Total cost: - $9.00
