Ok so I'm new at posting threads for Video Games so bear with me(haahah no pun intended) Guess as I find more info I'll post it...K Whose excited??

Naughty Bear is the title of an upcoming video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Players will control the eponymous bear as they use various weapons to earn "Naughty Points", with extra points being given for "deviant and maniacal" tactics.[2] The game is set on a paradisiacal island where teddy bears live in harmony. The main character, Naughty Bear, is a shabby teddy bear who has a tendency to be mischievous, which earns him the dislike of the other bears. Like the other teddy bears, he does not speak but instead conveys his emotions through a variety of sounds and facial expressions. His actions are influenced by an unseen narrator with a demeanor reminiscent of that of a young children's television show host.

Plot
Naughty Bear is the only bear on the island that was not invited to a certain birthday party because of the fact that he is too naughty. While he crafted a gift for the occasion, he was laughed at by the other bears and sulked back to his house. Naughty Bear decides to take his revenge against all the other bears on the island

The game is a sandbox-styled world with thirty unique environments and weaponry to unlock through progression. Based on early gameplay footage,the game sees players take control of Naughty Bear, using stealth and tricks to lure the inhabitants into situations where they can be executed. It features a system that rewards the player for creative acts of violence and debauchery against the inhabitants of the island. While causing mischief, the player is rewarded with "Naughty Points", as well as being offered certain achievements and trophies. The more inventive and deviant the mischief, the greater the number of "naughty points" that are awarded. Accumulated "naughty points" make up the player's global "naughty score" which can be viewed on real-time leaderboards.
The game also has multiplayer options with games such as Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and Search and Destroy. Depending on the player's actions, in-game bears can either be recruited or may tamper with the main objective.

Yea I'm working on it, I'm on the crappiest internet in the world probaly. It will get better.

But anyways I think this game looks pretty interesting. Looks like a different kind of game to come out should be fun.

I agree. Can not wait to get this. Especially with the Jason Voorhees skin you get for pre-ordering it through Gamestop.

The blood-curdling screams of teddies caught in the Jaws of Naughty Bear only make him shake harder.
The third "Nightmare" trailer for Artificial Mind and Movement's stuffed slasher movie game Naughty Bear riffs on everyone's favorite killer shark movie to chilling effect. Those teddy bear screams have a way of getting under your skin. It makes you want to dig out your old stuff animals and cuddle them, whispering comforting words and assuring them that they are safe.
Maybe that's just me.
Naughty Bear is due out on June 22.

I'm thinking this will be an underrated gem that will recieve a cult status. I'm gonna rent it if I can, I don't see a lasting effect on it.

I know, it's one of those, either great or awful games. This is a game you want to wait for reviews of, it comes from a slightly shady company, and Graphicly it looks bad, but the gameplay could be fantastic and it could be a ton of fun.

Yeah...it looks like like it could be fun. Nothing I get really excited over, like you said we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

I loved the horror movie references in the first one. It had me cracking up!

Naughty Bear finally hits store shelves next week, and for better or worse, I've got my copy preordered at GameStop, in order to secure an exclusive slasher bear skin, completely with hockey mask. It's one of those instances where I preordered not for the special prize, but rather to make sure the store actually had a copy in stock come launch day. Naughty Bear doesn't strike me as a title that will score a lot of non-preorder inventory.
Still, I love the marketing so far, and if there aren't Naughty Bear plushies available soon, including one of the glorious Unibear, I shall be sorely disappointed.
Naughty Bear hits the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next Tuesday.



Wait there is multiplayer..

Not only does 505 Games' upcoming killer bear game have multiplayer, it has game modes that actually promote strategic thinking and cooperation. Who knew?
Naughty Bear is a game about one bear killing other bears, so naturally that extends to the multiplayer modes of the title as well. Developer Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) didn't simply toss in bear deathmatch, however. Instead, the multiplayer modes in Naughty Bear are unique takes on some of the classics, with a strong focus on cooperation.
Take the mode Jelly Wars, for instance. In this mode, three normal bears need to work together to collect jellies while one player takes on the role of Naughty Bear, trying to keep them from creating the biggest jelly ever. He'll set traps, hide the jellies, and maim and kill the other players while they work together to survive his onslaught.
It sounds rather compelling, doesn't it?
In Cake Walk, one player must survive while holding the Golden Cupcake, which renders him unable to attack or defends and slows his movement speed. Golden Oozy mode gives one player a machine gun with unlimited ammo, with the other players working together to take him down, and then against each other to claim the "oozy" for themselves.
There's also an Assault mode, which is a two-on-two objective defending game, and the closest thing Naughty Bear has to a normal multiplayer mode.
I figured we'd just be getting a single player adventure game on June 29. Looks like it's quite a bit more than that.

Sadly the reviews are not very good. They're hovering around the 5 out of 10 area.

(NOTE: there's no ps3 version reviews, but there IS 360 reviews, which can give you some idea)
