Default Any news on these delayed releases???

ANyone have the inside scoop on some of these titles that were supposed to be out? Some of which have been given multiple dates but still haven't seen the light of day:

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Jackie Brown
3. American Beauty
4. Blade
5. Desperado
6. Indiana Jones I-III
7. Jaws
8. Schindler's List
9. Titanic

Jaws and the Indiana Jones movies are the only ones that interest me. Isn't Blade already released on blu? Are you only wanting a higher quality release?

I thought it was out on blu, but i've never found it anywhere in stores. I knew there was a blu version out, but I thought it was international. I head the transfer was terrible. But Blade is one out of many others that have never seen Blu.

I actually just had all three Blade films in my hand early today. FYE seems to have many of the Alliance Blu-ray's in stock. I picked up Butterfly Effect and Blade 3 because the first is cropped and while 2 and 3 are in the right aspect ratio i dislike the 2nd.

Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are owned by Miramax, so they won't be appearing in the US in the foreseeable future. There are good European BDs of both movies (Denmark for Pulp Fiction and Holland for Jackie Brown) but I'm not sure about the region coding on those.

Titanic is getting a theatrical rerelease in 3D in April 2012. So expect a Blu-ray (along with the inevitable 3D version) later that year.

I have the Pulp Fiction mentioned and it is region free and very good in quality.

I'd love to have Schindler's List and Indiana Jones 1-3

I would take Blade and Desperado as well if the transfers were good enough.

Jaws, Schindler's List (without any DNR), Indy Trilogy, Titanic, Blade Trilogy, and Red Dawn for me. The rest of the major delayed titles don't have much repeat viewing value in my opinion.

I hope that fans of the series would want a higher quality release. The Alliance versions out in Canada, right now, are old, murky 1080i HDTV transfers put onto a blu-ray disc. They're not even in the correct aspect ratio. They're all blown up into a 1.78:1 ratio (to fit your screen), when all three had an original ratio of 2.35:1.

Hopefully, Warner Bros. and New Line give them a proper release in the near future.
