Yeah, last episode was great. I think it's called "character development" or something like that.
I agree with everyone who says this is the ballsiest show going right now. No doubt about it, especially season 2 with all the intro "plane crash" teasers leading up to the last episode. How bout the mariachi music video in season 2? Nobody does stuff like that.

The show really has a lot of wonderful camera work. The numerous shots of the sky when outdoors and just the overall camera angles make the episodes fun to watch along with the great writing.

AMC is 2 for 2 with their TV series.

Yeah, too bad AMC is standard def still. Very painful when switching from the BD's to current episodes. If i had the will power, i'd just skip the new episodes and wait for the bluray, but alas......

I think between Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy those are two of the biggest swinging pairs currently on tv, nobody creates chaos, turmoil, violence, and brilliant character development quite like Vince Gilligan and Kurt Sutter.

You really need to watch more than the pilot, the first three episodes are pretty strange, but once you start rolling along in season one, it becomes amazing.

Yeah honestly at first I didn't love it but I have high standards nowadays with certain shows. I started watching more and more and really started to like it. Then I started S2 and loved it. Whenever I was expecting something to happen, it didn't. It's not a predictable show. I watched the last three episodes of S2 recently and instantly made me love it.

I'm so eager to start S3 but I can't pay attention watching something on the computer. I say give it another chance and watch a couple more episodes, then you'll know.

Yeah I definitely know what you are talking about. Way back on the very first page when I first started this thread I mentioned that I didn't like the first few episodes when it originally started and gave up on it. It wasn't until the marathon aired the weekend before Season 2 premiered, I realized how brilliant of a show I had missed. It went from being something I didn't like to being in my top 5 shows on tv. It is incredible and for some people myself included just had a hard time getting into it initially, but if you can hold on it'll blow your mind as the story progresses.

I was dialed in as soon as i saw a naked walt driving an RV with a gas mask on!!!
Seriously though, i didn't realize the show was pure "greatness" until that episode in season 2 where Tuco takes Walt and Jesse out to his uncles trailer. So freaking tense. At points it was like modernized Hitchcock.

I gotta find time today to watch last nights episode.

Okay so I finally started watching this show since I needed something to hold me off until Dexter. Sally it didn't hold me off for long as I finished season 1-2 in about a week. Love the show, love the characters, just love it

I didn't read anything in this thread for fear of spoilers from season 3. I just saw the first episode of season 3 and I'm even more confused. So many questions have been left unanswered and i'm just waiting for them to wrap it up. One of my friends described the season finale of season 2 as just epic and it just opened up a whole can of worms.

I was wondering if someone would been nice enough to let me know (preferably by PM) if it's safe to read this thread , as in everyone has proper spoiler etiquette or if it's not the case at all. I'd like to partake in the discussion but as I am far behind I don't want anything spoiled. If it's not spoiler free, i'll probably see you guys in this thread soon enough

Thanks 'gents

Nope. Not available on my Dish package, but they did add TCM HD, so that's something.

I also have AMC HD, I was surprised when I saw AMC, FX and some other channels in HD out of nowhere.

I had a feeling haha

He's in some movie coming out with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, I think just him will make the movie hilarious.
