Wow, that's cool. Right choice as well. Opie and Jax being boy-hood friends adds more depth to the show, and can also give you an emotionally charged story arc down the road - love/friendship/betrayal/revenge etc - Killing him in the 1st season would have been way too soon.

Oh yeah, I was one of the people online begging Kurt not to kill him. Opie has been my favorite character since the beginning. But the plan from when they first started thinking of the show, was to kill off Opie's character. They never expected Ryan Hurst to become such a fan favorite so fast.

I'm real sorry about that, I had forgotten you where active in the thread without having seen the show.......I just operate under the assumption that people who are active in show threads have actually seen them all cause that's what I do. You really need to let your DVR stack up your USA shows, and get on SOA, I'm telling you, you are just about to hit incredible territory as you near the end of the first season and move on into the second.

What episode are you on now, by my guess you just watched "The Pull" and are about to enjoy the hell out of "Hell Followed" but the final 3 episodes "Capybara" "The Sleep of Babies" and "John the Revelator" will blow you away. That is until you start season 2, and will wonder how the hell they managed to top the first season. The show is just brilliant and gets better with every episode.

I was unaware that Sons of Anarchy had a planned seven season arc.

I wish FX would just sign the show for numerous seasons instead of one. It would make me happier to know that it is guaranteed said many seasons.

Everyone I mention this show to seems to be completely clueless over it. It's strange that it does pretty well in the ratings, yet no one I mention it to knows of it's existence. I hope that changes.

I've seen season one probably 15 times so I'm familiar with episodes titles off the top of my head. Well than you are just about to hit the best episodes of the season!!!

Hell yeah, it's addicting ain't it? You're lucky that you can immediately watch the first episode of season 2, I had a 9 month wait in between seasons, that's the problem with watching shows on cable from the beginning.

So what do you think of Sutter as Big Otto? He's a pretty damn good actor for a writer don't ya think?

I loved the commentary from the finale, those guys all seem to get along so well, and Ron kept cracking me up talking about how he only watches scenes that he's in, so he has no idea what happened when he's not in a scene.
