Questions about a PSP - Blu-ray Forum

Alright, I have been in search for one for awhile now. A girl I work with got one for her husband, a PSP Slim, it's silver but I wish it was black to go with my PS3. Anyways, her husband modded the PSP. She said they d/l games and play them and what not. I explained to her why it is wrong, and it flew over her head.

She said they don't use it anymore, and would sell it to me. So, I have it, right now at my house. She said I could try it out if I liked it, I could buy it. It is modded, with a Gameboy Advance emulator as well.

So, I have some questions about it and I figured my friends here could help me out.

1. If I do an update for it from PSN or wherever the updates come from, will it disable it so it can't do anything because it's modded, or is there no updates that will do that? (I ask because Xbox Live does this and prevents systems from getting on Live)

2. I don't plan on downloading games, I rent from Gamefly, so is there an easy way to reverse the mod to prevent what I asked in questions 1 from happening?

3. I have tried to use it as remote play for my PS3, but it is not working. Is it because it is modded or should it work regardless?

4. If I buy it, it also comes with the Daxter PSP game and a UMD of Family Guy The Freakin' Sweet Collection. They didn't give me a price for buying it, they told me to name a price (Not for free though). How much is it worth in it's current state (modded)? I know it has been tampered with and warranty is voided, which it has probably ran out anyways.

Any other input would be appreciated.

Again, I must stress, I"AM AGAINST MODDING! I just want a PSP for remote play and a few games (God Of War for one).
