Superbad (2007) - Blu-ray Forum

Before you all jump down my throat, it had some funny parts and the underlying story was cool.

However it just lacked so bad. The high school humor just did not work for me. The constant mention of sexual acts, parts and the like got old fast. It's like some horny 14 year old made the movie.

Again, some parts funny - most not. Underlying story - cool, how they did it, not. I am going to cancel my pre-order. If anyone is buying this blind - rent it first. Not one of those things that's worth owning IMO.

Yeah, I pre-ordered it before I watched it. Just got done watching it.

I haven't seen it but I did watch the trailer and I didn't laugh once. This is probably just one of those movies I don't get.

Its worth the pricetag to me. Are you tellin me that when Seth goes off on the Home Economics teacher isnt funny enough to make it worth it? that in itself should be worth the purchase! IMO anyway...

Like I said dude, it has "SOME" funny parts - but the movie is pretty much blah. I am also not too keen on all the sex talk going on. Seems way over done.

I can see where your coming from... Many Judd Apatow movies do that to me too. There are some funny parts in most of his movies but in the overall perspective, his movies are essentially carbon copies of each other.

FYI - the chew out of the home ec teacher was funny.

I honestly can't agree with you at all about this one...

To each his own, but this movie was just down right hilarious....

Everyone who was in this movie had such a great sense of comedic timing that it truly is amazing...

Jonah, who played Seth in the movie, is truly a comedic all star. He carries several scenes in the movie and never over plays what is the complete polar opposite of Evan's character....

I look foward to this movie on Bluray, and think that it will truly be an excellent film to own....

i laughed pretty hard but it was stupid and kinda reminded me of american pie. it was still damn jokes though and for sure is gonna be a huge seller... i know im gonna give em my money
