1. 1080p/24 a must
2. Movement must be smooth
3. High contrast ratios
4. Min. 45" screen

Now let's assume 3 budgets and see what you recommend. I love the Pioneer plasmas, but wow are they pricey. Sony's XBRs seem size and energy efficient but I am worried about motion artifacts, judder, etc...
Go ahead and include sound systems if you like. Any input is appreciated.

Budget 1: 2-3K
Budget 2: 3-4K
Budget 5: 5-6K
i love my tv's
my loft upstairs has a 61" samsung DLP (11' away) = budget 1
my main floor tv is a 73" mitsubishi DLP (15' away) = budget 2
my basment is gonna be a projector (sony or mitsu) mounted from the ceiling on a 110" steward screen about (18' to 20' away) with 2 rows of theatre seats = budget 5

i like big screens at least 60'' of bigger and lcd or plasma is too much money, i do have 2 42'' plasmas one for the bedroom and one for the gym, granted they look killer, i'm still happy with the dlp's

ive got one for your budget #74, i'll get if i win the lottery price has dropped 5k already
