I responded that she does usually give big plasma or LCD screens away each year, so adding a BD player & titles would be nice (instead of seeing her hand out HD-DVD players and titles ... which would only help to prolong the war!).

We need an Insider to get the BDA to have BD players given away on her Favorite things giva-away show, before the HD-DVD guys get to her first. That one show carries a lot of weight over the holiday season shopping. A wife looking for a gift that her hubby would like this Christmas..."I bet he'd love one of those Blu-ray high-def movie players that were on Oprah..." (as opposed to "...one of those HD-DVD high-def players...

That's her most watched show of the year!
Heck, I'll adminit it...I even watch that one, and supposedly, a lot of other guys do to.
