Last Comic Standing 2010

Who else has been watching this season? There have been some very talented comics this season. Also several surprise auditions, Rick Fox who I recognized from working with Paul Shore has been hilarious and I'm hoping he will get through a few more rounds. But man Chris Rock's 19 year old little brother, definitely should never had even thought of doing comedy. His brother has been doing it longer than he's been alive, and he was terrible. Go get some life experience and try again in a decade junior. Anyways, who are some of your favorites so far?? I really like the wild haired crazy Mexican guy, I'm blanking on his name right now, but he's been probably one of the top 3 comics so far.

Quite a few pro's already in the mix. I've seen a couple of the comics specials before on Comedy Central.

The host (Craig Robinson) as usual is just a waist of airtime. The judgest this year aren't that great either. Greg Giraldo is funny, Natasha is a no-name, and Andy Kindler may be a good writer but I've never found his comedy funny.

That said, the comics have been pretty good and as long as they stick to showcasing them, it should be a good season....baring that some producers don't try to fix it again.

Yeah I hear ya, most of them have only appeared in one episode each cause we've had only what 2 or 3 so far? Lol, but their jokes definitely stick in your mind. I loved when the mexican was talking about how because he's mexican he's always with big girls but the one time he woke up and she was walking away wearing his underwear he thought he'd died. I almost fell out of my chair on that one. Looks like everybody who's made it so far will be in this Monday's episode cause they are finally at the second round, so I'm sure i'll remember their names a lot better after this week.

When Guy Torry came out I thought it was a fake audition like Craig had just done. I've seen Guy in so many movies and I just assumed he was actually a stand up comedian too. I didn't know he was being serious until they gave him his ticket, lol.

I had just watched Myq's (forget his last name) special. He was the one that said we shouldn't call them boobies, but hurraybies. His special was pretty funny. Lots of good wordplay.

Reminds me of a couple years ago when Pablo Francisco was on and they didn't even give him a ticket! That's when you know that the show was being screwed with behind the scenes for those early seasons.

I have never seen a white guy with a spelling for Myq so messed up before, lol. I remember his jokes pretty well, but never seen his special.

Yeah he was a standup before he was in movies like American History X. He and his brother Joe were on Def Comedy Jam back in the day.

I haven't watched any of this year, and I think I only saw the 1st season.

I remember one year there was a 15 year old russian kid who was REALLY funny but he just missed out. And even some of the more established guys were giving him props.

He had a great joke about how his father left them when he was young and so it was just him and his mother. and his mother would get mad and say "you're just like your father", so I slapped her and walked out. So I'd be just like my dad.

What makes it even more so, which I just remembered, the kid had only been doing comedy for 6 months at the time. That's what many of the older comics couldn't believe, that he had only been doing it for that little time, and he was pretty good.

Wonder why he hasn't tried out again for the show. He was great, and I'd love to see more of his routines.

I loved the "mooley" guy from the Bronx, Mike DeStefano. (It's alright...I'm Italian too.) Loved his joke about being confronted by a gang of thugs.

He said, "So I bumped into one of these guys and he said, "Yo, you bumped into me dog, um why don't you say 'axcuse me?" and I said, "Axcuse me? Because that's not a word, that's why I don't say it, number one." So, um these guys were gonna beat me up. But I carry a gun just in case I get my feelings hurt. So, I'm sensitive. And so I put the gun to his head, and he said, "It's all good dog." I said, "No, no, it's all bad, there's a gun pointed at your head. It's not all good. It was all good a couple minutes ago, but now it's at least mostly bad for you." So I said, "I'm gonna kill one of you unless one of your friends can spell 'axcuse me" ...And he didn't make it.

All the comics in the first hour killed it. I didn't quite love the last hour as much, though there where some really good jokes. I was glad to see Mike DeStefano go through, my picks for winner where either Felipe, Mike or Kirk Fox who I was saddened to see get eliminated tonight. His bit about knowing that he would die by a .357 magnum round to the top of the head was hilarious. I hope to see a lot more of him down the road. I do really like Rachel, she's funny and sexy which is a very rare thing in comedy.

Now Felipe, he is the Mexican comedian I have referenced a few times here. This guy is insanely hilarious. I would definitely watch a full special if he gets one, which btw, what exactly does the winner of this show get anyways? is anybody else with me in seeing Benicio Del Toro as Dr. Gonzo from Fear and Loathing when Felipe came out tonight in a suit? His mannerisms are almost identical and so is his style of speech, it makes him even funnier.

Already disagree with the judges. I loved the guy who did the bit about skydiving, I liked him a lot last year too and he didn't make it then. Blah.

I love Felipe, I think he'll do well.

Myq is good.

That one chick wasn't funny last night, she was better in the auditions.

The last guy chosen I think was the wrong choice. He's funny, but the competition changes a lot and I think the other comedian could've adapted better.

The Italian guy, same thing, I like him, but I think others could've done better throughout the competition

I agree the first hour was much better. I think they got rid of a lot of good guys though just to get some women in the first group of 5. Didn't really like Felipe in the auditions, didn't like him last night.

I was really hoping that Tommy was going to win. I really liked Felipe in the beginning but he got a little old as the time went on. I hope to see Tommy hit it big in the future. But I must address one thing.......

iliza schlesinger, the goddess of comedy. She was hilarious, and looked amazing rocking that skin tight, oh so very short little black number last night. God Dayam!!!........my mouth is still watering............... For those of you not familiar..........
