Read the OP. Because the movies were directed by the same guy and filmed in the same manner may mean they are 'technically' similar, but they are FAR from being two movies where if you like one, you'll like the other. They're no different than the examples cited by the OP.

But, I'm not going to waste my time arguing over something stupid like this. As I said, I loved the first but loathed the second.
