How difficult is the online community for a newbie? Is it possible for a newbie to get all the online trophies... assuming they practiced?

Will online players with the Move controllers have an advantage over those who just use the standard dualshock3? Seems to me that aiming with your arm is far more accurate than aiming with a thumb.

Lastly I have a standard dsl connection. Supposedly the speed is 54 Mbps...
Is this good enough to play online without experiencing too much lag?

If anyone can answer these, thanks.
You have to play a lot to really have fun in the online mode. I don't play much online because I get owned by people who play 24/7. I'm really good in coop but against other human players they are just insane. I can start shooting them before they shoot me and I'll still die. I just can't move and aim as good as the online players who play a lot so for me I don't have much fun playing death matches online.

Thanks for the info. I guess I knew it was going to be difficult but was hoping that there'd be a lot of beginners too.
Guess I'll try it and see, next year.

I wasn't great at Killzone 2 multiplayer but with some persistence over a week I managed to max out the multiplayer medals and PSN trophies.

I like to rush behind enemy lines and put sentry bots in evil places. Aahahahaha. (not inside their base)

Lol I liked the KZ2 multiplayer for a while. I played till I got the Sniper, I think I liked the class where you could call in those flying bots the most.

My favorite was the Spy with the SMG or the Medic.

On a side note I have been playing through Killzone 1 over the last few days. Currently on Lv 8. My only complaints are no accurate aiming and poor draw distances. Besides that an awesome game. A lot of variety in the missions.

I think it demo'd well despite Jimmy's apparent lack of FPS experience. Herman managed to get in a soft jab or two.

That's probably why he sticks to Rockband.

I can't tell where the bunker buster breaks out from but maybe they haven't animated the gun for it yet.

Killzone 2 has bots so you can play on a really easy setting and have quite a bit of fun. Hopefully KZ3 is similar with even more additions for the offline crowd

Well I got my Killzone 2 from Amazon yesterday. Played a couple missions last night. Just finished the game a couple hours ago. Graphically the game is oustanding. The gameplay is pretty good although I have had a few hiccups like dialogue not being played and Helghans going through walls. I also saw three ISA soldiers hovering way above the map on the Palace mission. The enemy AI is also pretty impressive, the Hig's actually have brains. Too bad your ISA companion's are dumb as rocks. I REALLY hate Rico. His AI seems to be the most moronic.

Overall a pretty good game. It was actually challenging in a couple of parts. I give Killzone 2 a 5/5 and can't wait for the third installment.
