I want it more! Transformers was a great movie (IMO), but Matrix trounces it ten-fold! It was extremely innovative at the time, and made going to the movies fun again. I can't wait for it on Blu! And if they think the numbers are skewed towards Blu now, wait 'til Warner starts releasing all their titles on Blu (that are currently only available on HD DVD)...

I just want to shout out a big "Kudos" to the Mods for not only dumping the trolls when they show up, but also for deleting their rhetoric from the forum altogether. And since they are, we all should refrain from "quoting" them in our replies. It basically wipes out their existence, and keeps their garbage from being seen by newcomers. Very nice...

If Warner was truly looking at 4th Qtr sales and wanted to see another huge hit on Blu-ray they should Release Batman Begins on Blu-ray. It's one of those WB titles that I have been dying to get and I can't understand why WB is holding out on us?!

Any idea if the movie "Children of Men" will come out on blu-ray? The movie was amazing.

Does anybody know if the Batman movies from the 90's will be coming out on blu ray soon? I believe they were done by WB, so there is no reason why they shouldn't.

Also if anybody knows whether or not the movie Akira is coming out on Blu Ray, could you let me know? I don't know if Pioneer has signed on with blu ray or not.

I can't see WB releasing the original Batman until AFTER Batman Begins, sometime mid next year around when The Dark Knight comes out. But, there is the possibility maybe they will release ALL of them around then. Tough to say with catalog titles.

It's coming out in Scandinavia soon if it's not out already. Scans of the back didn't say anything about a BD region code so it's probably region free, but don't quote me on that.

Hi, I am new to the forum and I have seen people discussing LoTR movies but I havent been able to find any info on Star Wars movies. I do know Star Wars is Fox which is Blu Ray exclusive right? Why have there not been any talks on Star Wars. It is one of the biggest Blockbusters to run over 20 years First on i think was late 70s (could be wrong) wouldnt this be a good movie to release on Blu Ray exclusive to totally shift the war in Blu rays favor. As i said i really not sure on what has or has not been discussed but i would like to hear of what plans are for these Movies. Thank you

Actually, Star Wars has been talked to death on the forums, if you'll do a search and have a bit of time on your hands, you'll find several threads about both LOTR and Star Wars. But to answer quickly, it appears that it will not be out until there is a definite winner of this format war.
