the 52 sony you should be able to find for around 3500 - 4000, the 58 panny can be found for 3k or so.

but the pq of the xbr4 so far is just simply amazing. i like the panny's but the sony gets em hands down

I'll be using it for movies. I've been leaning towards the XBR but sorta wanted something bigger than 52 and the 58 panny is a nice tv, so it's sort of a comprimise I guess. More than likely once I make my purchase it'll be the xbr.

The panny 58" i have not seen for below $3699 at sears, maybe online stores have them cheaper. BB is advertising it at $4049 right now. i saw the sony xbr4 advertised on BB for $3499 from $4499, $1000 off right now. they must be wanting to move them now that the holiday season is here.

sears had the 58 at 3250 at one point for a while
