I agree with this. You don't know how the PS3 was treated so it'd be best to just get a new one. What's the "decent" price that you're getting it for? I know that you would hate to spend $150 or $200 on it and it gets the YLoD within a month or two or even 6. Personally I would just spend a little extra money and get the Slim.
