Don't let the wolves tear you apart on here. Some of us aren't all knowing on every front for blu-ray like obviously others are. You can't even ask questions on here anymore...purely ridiculous.

We can be nice wolves! The Nielsen week runs Monday thru Sunday. For releases 11/6 (Cars, Ratatouille, etc), that means that the sales week ended 11/11. Home Media Magazine publishes the figures the following Friday i.e. tomorrow, typically between 9-12 PST.

Trust me, the instant they're published, they'll be in the Nielsen thread.

You're welcome, but Shrek 3 released this week and so those figures will be reflected in the numbers we get next Friday. Chuck & Larry (plus Transformers residual sales) was the big competition for Cars et al

Yeah, but i'm just talking about comparing the first weeks numbers of the two. I realize that it was released a week earlier. I think it would be funny if second week sells of Rat destroy Shrek 3. I think it could happen.

i would like to see cars and ratatouille demolish shrek 3 even in their second week.

and i was serious earlier, i share the op's feelings. i am anxious to see how well they did. why does it take so damn long.

Both Rat and Cars are superb movies, would not be surprised if they outsell Shrek 3 which is awful

Judging from Amazon sales ranks I'm pretty sure Blu-ray is going to have a great week.

If I had to guess 81:19 That week was very Blu-Ray dominating. The big guns are out and more are coming to obliterate the competition, bye bye HD-DVD
