I think it's a well crafted film from a technical standpoint, I just think it's very overrated and I'm not fond of its themes. Alien 3, another Fincher film, is not well crafted at all imo.

Thanks, that was all I needed to know.
About Alien 3 he did what he could and I haven't seen it for a long time, the Blu-ray release should change that.

Also oddly enough I was also accused of following a member just yesterday

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I do not loath the film like some people or find it as vile as them either.

It is definitely not as good as the original in nearly every way, but I still enjoy the movie.

The voice actors for the robots are great, especially Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving.

I like Shia in these movies, he does a good job.

The production value and actions scenes are great (though some would disagree with me because of their dislike of Bay's shooting/editing style).

I also liked that this one had a "big" mid-movie battle, something that was lacking in the first film.

I do hate the dog humping (seriously, what was the point of that?), the overuse of the twins (they have a few things they say that is actually funny, but some of their screen time should have been given to Ironhide, Ratchet or Swideswipe), and the humor taking more of a "toilet" form (there is definitely still stuff that made me laugh really hard, but there was a lot that didn't).

More bots did not = more awesomeness as a lot of us fans of the first thought it would.

They increased the amount of robots way too much and didn't have enough time to spread around for all the bots.

I enjoyed the climax of the film, but it wasn't close to as good as the city battle in the original.

In the first film Megan Fox had a character who just happened to be incredibly attractive. This time they did everything they could to make her a sex symbol character, straddling the bike, more running in slow motion,
[Show spoiler]a robot humping her leg
...
They also changed her character from the first film.
[Show spoiler]In this one she spends a lot of time whining and complaining about Sam not telling her he loves her.
(That probably doesn't need to be tagged)

I like the character in the first movie, but thought she was annoying in this one in the dialog scenes because of the changes.

I liked the main story of the movie, but it could have been handled better (I'll chalk this one up to the writers not having all that much time and the script being a rush job).

Complaints aside, I do still enjoy the movie a good bit and like watching it, but just can't give it a high score because of those complaints.

Rating - 3.75/5

I hope the third one turns out better than both of the first two

I agree--def a quality actor. He wasn't a bad guy in Milk Money, which RottenTom. describes as "tasteless, unfunny, and offensive!"

Well the robots only speak Japanese, so they needed American's to dub for them.

I will admit, I enjoyed Transformers 1. I didn't think it was a good film, but it was entertaining enough. I doubt I'll get around to seeing Transformers 2 though, I'll feel like I'm cheating on the classics and foreigns.

I highly enjoyed Transformers, very good movie to me.

But, I suppose we both have different uses for the classification "good movie"

Since you're like, special, now, can you hide the fact that I just admitted I enjoyed Transformers a bit??? Por favor Vincent?

Squid owns it, so you have the one up on him

And Surf owns Twilight, so you have that trump card against him

Oh boy...are they ever going to rag me on my collection now
