Thumbs up Just Got A Survey From Warner Home Video

I just received a survey from Warner Home Video. It had a lot of questions about my DVD use and some questions on what HD format that I supported. It asked the number of DVD's, Blu Ray and DUD's that I owned. Of course, DUD got zero and Blu received 54. I wonder if this survey is a prelude to them making their decision on who to support in the HD world.

Also when you go to the warner site and sign up for their news letter, after you sign up it asks you things like what you have , what you buy that kind of thing and of course has checks for Blu and hd-dvd so it cant hurt to do that ( use a back up email addy if you are worried about spam )

Why else would they ask a question like that unless they were gathering information for a reason. Companies don't do things like that just for no reason.

Instead of a survey, WB sent me this link:

Enjoy.

I am not sure why they would need a survey, when the numbers speak for themselves.

I took the survey as well.

I gladly told them how I owned around 70 BDs and no HDs.

There were some questions about TV shows on home video. Perhaps they're planning some high-def releases of their TV shows?
