I'm hoping for 80:20 or thereabouts with the Pixars and residual Spiderman sales.

I'd like to think 80's but I really think that is too optimistic. I think closer to 70:30 is more likely.

85:15. people seem to be forgetting that you saved 10 dollars when you bought both ratatouille and cars. this wasn't just an amazon promo. cars did very well on amazon pre orders and then moved up even farther on the day of the release (i believe it was near the top 10) not only did ratatouille probably do 150k, but i would beat cars did at least 50k. then we have residual spiderman sales that should cancel out both chuck and larry and transformers combined, so really hd dvd has absolutely nothing countering a massive 200k pixar tag team.

There is no way for an individual week to move either SI or YTD by more than 1 pt... just isn't mathematically possible unless the week had 5 times the normal volume. Even if BD won 100:0 it wouldn't move anything 2 pts.

79:21 with 9% of all Blu-ray sold being returned next week by uninformed A-2 owners that bought Disney titles thinking that they would work on all HD players.

I'm gonna say 83:17, because there were no good releases for HD DUD that week.

dude, i don't know where you shop, but i don't know anyone that will take back an opened up disc. once you open up the movie, you can't return it. and i would bet my ps3 more people have bought hd dvd thinking it would work in a dvd player, than uniformed duds buying blu-rays. i would guess that 6-8% of all of HD DVDs business is via dvd people getting screwed over.

75:25 at the lowest and 80:20 at the best.

More likely they'd be returning the A-2 and keeping the movies for their new Blu-ray player
