I've only been to Toronto, Kingston, and Napanee (all in Ontario, of course), but I've got to tell you, the air really does seem so fresh up there... even in T.O.!

You should really check out BC. The air is much nicer out there, and it's quite a beautiful place.

What is the best place in Montreal to eat Poutine ? I have been to many places and Lafleur is the best for me so far.

Has anyone went to La Banquise ?

Never tried but heard good things. My personal favorite is from Vincent Subs in Ville St-Michel, their hotdog poutine is to die for, and chances are that's what's gonna happen if you have too many

BC is tops on our list of next vacation places. We're both (my wife and me) nature enthusiasts, so BC would serve us well, I think.

It's a great place to visit. I don't like living here because it's so hot so much of the year. But for vacationing (especially Clearwater) it's a lot of fun.

You might be right there, I just happen to jam with guys there, we order in

The second best place unfortunately closed down about 1 year ago, in Lasalle ( I can already hear you )

Will ask my daughter about La Banquise, seems she told me about it. Darn I'm getting hungry for one now

I'm with you there. Unfortunately we don't have as great a selection of poutine places here as opposed to Montreal. =(

Not yet but will go down on one of their show night and catch the whole experience, seems I'm the only one that hasn't been. If you like smoked meat, the original Lester's in Outremont is tops also, it's like going back 30 years or so going there, same old tables, counters, coke bottles, you get the picture. Medium-lean with swiss, godly

Edit: seems like band night every night, cool
