Is this worth a blind buy? I guess I could always catch it this weekend since it's still playing, but I was looking forward to Inception.

I am intending to make a blind purchase out of this because everything I have read has said that Predators returned to the style of the first two films. Thank God too because both AVP films were atrocious.

Haha...you're right. The AVP films were like....diet...caffeine free Predator/ Alien movies.

Think of it as a well made b-movie, that's how I did and I enjoyed it tremendously, gave it 8/10 or maybe 7.5/10.

My cousin who is a Predator F A N B O Y gave it 7/10, he was he wasn't as enthused as me but still enjoyed it, so don't expect anything at all.

Yeah, it was pretty awful. Funny how it took them 23 years... to come up with almost the exact same script as the original film.

i bet the studio bank of the scaryish of it and sell it right before halloween, but thats my guess. it isnt like this was a hug blockbuster hit and i highly doubt it willmake stocking stuffer for christmas

It made a nice little profit though, costing around 38 million making 50 million domestic 100+ worldwide

oh i know it did good but it just wasnt the blockbuster movie ya know. it isnt like the parents and everyone will be out in november trying to get this movie. studioes knows this and my guess is they'll release it for a halloween type date for the fact it looks like a scary movie, and bank on it.

saw it in the theatre-- very disappointed

it had a few moments here and there but overall was not a good movie-- along the same lines as PREDATOR 2-- another misfire in the series...

With any luck it will not be released in October, To many big releases that month. lol
I dont know what i will do if any other big titles come out in October, It might start cutting into my black friday money i set aside for November.

I liked the previews but previews can be deceiving. I'll rent it just for the action.

I missed this in the cinema but I will say the cover art is one of the better ones I have seen comparing to other releases.

I sure hope this comes in a Black (NON-ECO!) bluray case. Don't see them very often. Will definitely be picking up on release day. More than one if they have black cases

Will it have extended scenes or extra gore that wasn't shown in theatres like an unrated version?

I liked it a lot. Its not as good as the first one. The story is not as good as the second predator movie but it is executed a lot better, has better dialogue and acting and has a more suitable atmosphere.

Its supposed to be coming out with a directors cut. Rodriguez said in an interview that it would. Also at imdb a user called Dutchdillon apparently has the skinny on it.

Also, thats agood way to compare P2 with PS.
