I can see where Inception could be nominated for all of these. Of course, Director is tied in with nomination for best picture.

That was twelve years ago, but I still agree. It's between this one, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Wrestler, and District 9.

For anyone that has seen it, google this:

[Show spoiler]528 or 528 hz. 528 was a number in the combination. There's lots of crazy information out there saying 528hz is the frequency of creation or repair. Was Cobb creating the dream he wanted to live in, or repairing the "broken" one. I also wonder if 528hz is used musically in the movie. Does 528 hz = key C? One crazy thing I found was 528 + water = creation. Dreams are pure creation. Did Nolan go viral or was all this stuff in place beforehand? Weird!

How can anyone give this movie 1 star. It's not the greatest movie ever, I gave it 4 stars, but 1 star is a joke. 1 star is for movies like Land of the Lost or Splice.

Also
[Show spoiler]The information says grass grows at 528hz and there isn't any grass in the dreams. Only in the parts with the children.

It's all rather strange, but how does it fit within any if the movie, I just think it's a really complex number just to make people who really want to read into the movie into a wild goose chase.

[Show spoiler]IM starting to think that the whole movie was a dream in Cobbs mind, thatw he never actually truely woke up from the dream exploration with his wife. Cobb stated that him and Mal went deeper and deeper and deeper and the movie only showed them kill themselves once on the train tracks before waking up in their living room. Then after awhile, Mal killed herself because she thinks she's still sleeping and dreaming. Now, what happens if she was right? That she is actually still alive and that the only reason she infrutrates Cobbs dreams is trying to "kick" him to the next stage of dreams so he can be closer to being truly awake. At the end, the kids never ever really aged at all and it seems CObb was away for while.

It fits Cobb's journey perfectly no matter how you interpret the movie.
[Show spoiler] His ultimate goal was to go home. If you believe home was within a dream or in real life (where we live) either way he got there through creation. Pure creation. I think the dream is now his reality. The top will keep spinning.

I think you are onto something. We need a separate spoiler thread for this movie!

How about this guys:

[Show spoiler] is there any possible way the first extraction was actually done on Cobb? Also why does Saito say they failed the test, and why when he wakes up he notices the indentations on his wrist and smirks. Making us think whatever they extracted from him he wanted them to have. Was it the idea on how to do an Inception?

[Show spoiler]i was thinking the same thing. also, i cant be sure because its been a couple days since i saw it, but were Cobb and Mal even hooked up to the machine when the "woke up" at home? (aka they were still in another level of a dream?) for some reason i dont remember it being there, but like i said its been a couplde days...

The second half...

[Show spoiler] of the number is 491. You can be forgiven for a sin 490 times. So the combination = creation and unforgiven sin?

That's correct. Keen eye. Good deciphering.
Gotta go, all the water evaporated and my egg's metamorphosing rapidly.

i saw the movie again last night, so thats twice so far, and im planning on going tomorrow.

As for pacing, it was exactly the same, seeing it twice in 2 days and i was not bored one bit or longing for it to speed up at all. I noticed a few more subtle parts in the film that i didnt see the first time round as i was trying to think ahead of the plot when i first saw it, so it was even more enjoyable the second time.

This film is easily going to be nominated for 9-12 Oscars, it would be a discrace if it wasn't. I've got a feeling this film is going to wipe the board and Toy Story will get Best Animated. I'd be happy with that.

A lot of people have said im crazy for going a third time to see this movie but those who have seen it once totally understand my madness.

[Show spoiler]The only thing that i missed on the second viewing is what Fischer says to Saito when they are 3 dreams down, i think Fischer falls over in the snow and gets up and says something, what was that about?

Also the film never showed the last kick back up from where they went under from on the plane?
