The Lost World (1925) - Blu-ray Forum

I think that the silent film The Lost World would be great on blu. Considering it's such a historic film, I can't imagine this not coming to blu. Anyone have any news on it or also would like it?

No news but i really hope this and many other silent films get the full HD treatment.

There are two versions. The David Shepard 93 minute version and the 100 minute George Eastman restoration version. I'd love to have both since each contains some footage the other does not. The George Eastman version never got a proper home video release either. It was included as a bonus disc when buying the 1960 remake dvd however 20th century fox went ahead and ruined it. The original silent ran at 18fps but it runs on the dvd at 24fps so the movie moves to fast and clocks in at 75 minutes.

While you wait, the Shephard 93 minute version released by image is very well done.
