Polks make some great speakers and im sure Todd can answer your question better then I since he owns that beautiful xpa-5 but im thinking it would be a good upgrade for you and a system with a good foundation you can always build upon if need be with speakers and such but I think your polks will do just fine .

Hey Todd, got your pm, hope the Spl Meter gets there by Weds., which is my guess. Did you ever get to see "The Last Airbender" with ur nephew? I'm off Mon., so I will check in from the library in 10-12 hours, as this is from my cell at home. Tonite, Monday, my friend and I are driving down to Mohegan Sun Casino to see "RUSH", even tho it's Sold Out and we don't have tix. Usually tix pop up last minute and we're hoping thats the case here. If not, it's only a bit over an hour drive. They're opening the 2nd set with the Entire "MOVING PICTURES" album straight thru! We're leaving around 4:30pm to get there early and look for our tickets.

Hey PoTee,my Friend.
Its good hearing from you.I hope you had a Wonderful Weekend.

Yes the UPA-5 made a Huge Difference in the Sound Quality of my System.
It was Much Clearer, with more Detail;as well as Better Bass and a Smoother Treble. This is also the case with music as well.

I would Very Highly Recommend it.If you were to sell these thru a network of dealers(instead of straight fom Emotiva)It would be at least twice the price.

It made my Polks Come to life. And sounded like it was a new pair of speakers.

Its one upgrade you will look back on,and wish you would have added it sooner.

Hey Aero my Friend.I hope your Monday is starting off well.
No,my Nephew and I didn't go to the Movies. However we watched Three in my HT Room(Black Hawk Down,G-Force,Sunshine)And before he left he watched Unforgiven on the Living Room System.

And since he has a PS3 he is starting to put together a Blu-Ray set up.So,he Loves Black Hawk Down, and I gave it to him as his First Blu-Ray.

They have the receiver and a pair of speakers. So three more speakers(and maybe a small sub)And they will have a System of His(or Their)own.

Hey Brent,my Friend.Thank You for the Very Kind Comments.

Looks as if today is going to be a very good day to watch another Blu-Ray or two.
May begin the LOTR Saga.Or stick with Harry Potter(even though I will have to skip two movies).

Who knows,I may actually choose another movie, all together.

Good morning Todd! Hope today finds you well, my friend! My vote is for LotR. I'm very curious to hear your impressions of watching them on the projector with you new sub, Paradigm speakers, and Emotiva amps.

Monday is over, thank the gods.

Re-watching season 1 of Two and a Half Men. I usually do not care much for sitcoms but I really like this one. Big Bang Theory and Frasier too.

There is a Very Good Chance that I will start with the trilogy. Its been so long since seeing them(It will be almost like the first time).

Though Fors* assesment should be a Very Good indication of how they are in Pic and Sound Quality(As his system is a Big Step Up from mine).
Though both of our systems have an emphasis in different areas. So there may be different impressions on particular parts of the Films.

But I will certainly provide my impressions on what I saw and heard.
If I play it right I can get it started today and finished Wednesday.

Just to let you know it's already hot as hell in Tampa. Think I'll spend alot time in the AC today.

Morning Todd, hope you enjoy LOTR! I know I did.

Keep in mind, it doesn't really have any big bass that you would get from a lot of the top demo movies, but it isn't bad. So if you think you're missing something from your new Emo sub, don't worry about it...it's just the audio track.

Hey Travis. Are the sitcoms box sets you bought, and are they Blu-Ray or Standard DVD.

I keep looking over at my little DVD~Blu-Ray Storage Center. And I see the New Battlestar Galactica and Babylon 5.But I keep telling myself, no BSG until its all Blu.

Though when I did watch it originally I didn't have any of the gear I have now.But I dont know if you have the same problem. When I watch TV Shows I couldn't stop.Watching 2 or 3 episodes would end up 5 or 6 episodes every time.

Enjoy my Friend.I am sure they are great TV Shows.

Thanks Chris,my Friend.
I am really looking forward to the Fellowship of the Ring.
That I have only seen One Time(and dont remember but a very few, small scenes).
And this will be the first time without using TV Speakers for the Audio.

So it should be different enough, that I may find myself really liking it.
But again,Thanks for the Heads Up Chris.
