miles_muso New Member Member since:Jul 2010	a partial solution with asus windows 7 64-bit I took delivery of a nice hi-spec Asus N71 which came preloaded with windvd9 oem version. It was supposed to play blu ray; but didn't. The problem is that windvd9 does not support the 64-bit version of windows u, only the 32 bit version. I called laptops direct who called their Asus rep and the upshot is that they're upgrading all their oem installs to windvd 10, which does work with 32-bit. I think the Asus website is planning to offer a free download link to upgrade existing laptops. Well done to Lee at laptops direct, well done to Asus for admitting they made a mistake and doing something about it, and 10 points to consumers everywhere!
