Plasmas refresh so quickly that they don't need to gloat about 120/240/480 hz. Many now feature a 600hz Subfield drive which essentially refreshes the picture enough to minimize/eliminate blur.

120/240hz and AMP/Motionflow are two separate things. 120/240hz is how fast the set can refresh. No matter what source you connect, LCDs will always refresh at 120/240/480hz. AMP and Motionflow is the manufacturers way of frame interpolation, or adding frames in between existing frames to smooth out motion.

Samsung Plasmas above 7000 have what is called Motion Judder Canceler. It is very similar to AMP, but I guess is tweaked somewhat for use on a plasma. On the C8000 it actually gives you 4 modes: Off, Standard, smooth and Cinema Smooth (24p Sources Only).
