Think about it: it's almost 8 hours long. That's like 4 movies. So, $13 a movie, basically, isn't toooooo bad

Do you actually review/rate squid? It's funny, I thought of that the other day right before you reviewed The Return

I'm just messing!

This isn't my thread! My only two successful threads have been the Favorite Foreign Films of the 2000s and the Ultimate Foreign, Indie, and Classic Film Thread.

But, I will take this thread by adverse possession.

I'm simply not a Harry Potter's fan at all. ...The only aspect that I like about this Series are first the Sound, and then the Picture. ...But if I'm not absorb by the stories, what use is there really?

See, movies are like music or paintings or girlfriends, everyone has their own preference right?

Scary isn't it?

I posted this in the Top 5 of 2010 thread:

I initially gave Inception a 4.5/5, but I've had a few days to mull it over now.

I'm going with a 4/5 instead. I still like it and think its good, but the 4.5/5 seemed a little high the more I thought about it.

Maybe I'll re-adjust it again after seeing it again eventually, but for now it is set at the 4/5.

In Bruges (Swedish import version) 4.5/5
PQ 4.5/5
AQ 4/5

I had never seen this. It's exactly the kind of humor that I like, similar to Tarantino and the Coens. I'll definitely be picking this one up.

Had to crank the sound up about 10 decibels higher than normal for some reason.

The Fountain. 8/10

Blind bought this when it first came out. Little confusing. Watched it 2 more times and still confusing. Don't know why because it came on tv and started to watch it. Got it, loved it. The thing that threw me off was his future self and I determined what it was suppose to symbol.

Now I put this on my Underrated movie list.

hold your ground squid! i know you will!
I know everyone wont agree on the same topic all the time but if the movie wasnt popular i ganrantee he and others wouldnt give it a 3/5 or 4/5.

The movie was brilliant, and brilliantly directed and Acted. What more do you need.
A Great ideal.

Great Acting

i was on imdb looking at the stats for Inception, really trying to see if it will drop like the dark knight did but i dont think it will ever fall under number 10.

Here's my reasons
It was marked no. 3 with 20,000 votes. its got more than double now and its still a no. 3. I noticed the only thing keeping it from become no. 1 or 2 was the average vote of the IMDB top 1000 voters but their average is increasing too.

I cant wait to see the end result

This movie might not be the best ever but it most definitely entertained me better than any movie i've ever viewed!

Lady in the Water 3/5
PQ 3.5/5
AQ 3/5

I like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, but Shyamalan didn't grab me with this story. Giamatti does his best with a weak script. It was watchable, but I don't need to see it again.

PQ wasn't the best and the lossy audio was uneven and I had to keep adjusting the volume.

Shakespeare in Love
5/5
I have seen this film the most of any I have seen (in the ten's), and I think it is my favorite of all time. First time viewing on BD (Alliance). PQ was adequate and definately worth the upgrade from DVD. Amazing screenplay, one of the best ever...can't get enough of it
