You should post it in the smackdown forum, that place has become a cesspool of AVS HD DVD troll refugees ever since I got banned that I'm not even thinking of going back there (very easy to do with a different IP, e-mail, and nickname)

I am pleased to know about your decision, you went blu even though you won't be able to notice the huge AQ difference on Blu ray titles vs. HD DVD.
Feel welcome amongst your brothers and sisters here.

It was nasty, and it got closed as after 8:26pm. 27 posts in this thread, only 2 post by me, no defense, all try questioning and attack(mocky or make fun of my decision, etc), and I still walking out without pressure or crush by the words. The last words I said was God Bless you all in one post, #15.

So, I'll just do my thing here at Blu-ray this why I said I had tremous respect from you guys on Blu-ray.com from first post of this thread.

Default Blu-ray suprassed 100 mark!

I have suprassed and now am member of Blu-ray 100 club. I current have 110Blu-ray.

39 Blu-ray purchases this month alone, that new record.
Need one more to tie most Hi-def purchas ein one month alone: 40.

Thank you all for your tremous support me and have me here on forum. Look forward to complete some WArner Bros Titles on Blu-ray.

Paramount titles are now completed, expect Nacho Libre. I had phased 67 out of 71 HD DVD into trade-in last 3 days. Now I dont have many and it will be part of history as muesum or it will go into final phase as get rid of it by 2008.

Today, HD DVD add-on and last 4 HD DVD will be vanished. This is a final phase for me to complete throw out all HD DVD. Now it will be complete 0 HD DVD and more Blu-ray, current 115, may go up to 117 or so by today.

God Bless you all!

@ thread title

I never was and I never will be. I am waiting for more Blu choice here in Belgium (so far around maybe 50 discs available here vs +400 in America) and prices way above too, with a disc being about 30 Euros which is 45 Dollars).

This store in downtown Brussels imports american Blurays but for example Troy Director's cut which I want to buy is sold there 53 euros (76 dollars) compared to what ? maybe 25 dollars in US stores ? that is unfair so I'll wait for now

I did the same thing in Jan/Feb 07. I had 60+ HD DVD, but was frustrated of my A1 after 2 unit and Hangs randomly. I sold all my HD DVD on Ebay and bought a PS3 and now i have close to 60 bluray with more to come..

I know I'm done buying HD DVD.I too kept having freezes and hickups with my HD DVD player. Its funny with Blu-Ray I only ever had 2 freezes, but that was last year.Since the firmware updates I've had no problems. But with HD DVD even with firmwares I still have problems getting some movies to work. I believe it's true what they say about those cheap HD DVD players that Toshiba has been selling-There cheap because there junk.
