Default Blockbuster... never again

im ranting sorry. blockbuster is bad. i preorder assassins creed there because i had a 55$ giftcard right?! so the game comes out like a week ago and they still dont have a copy. and whats worse... they cant even refund my gift card or transfer the order to another location.

Oh thats messed up. How hard can it be to refund your gift card? You should complain to a manager and see if they can make it up to you in someway. Thats not cool at all

I havent been in a blockbuster in over 3 years, I am a fan of online, but right now I am cheering on and even recommending REDBOX, I see they are putting them in the front of Wal-Marts now....WOOHOO!!

seriously... i got the gift card for trading in some old ps2 games and then figured i might as well put it towards my assassins creed... maybe i'll go tomorrow or monday and raise a sh*@!t storm with a manager...

If the manager doesn't want to help, call the district manager. Not sure about where you are, but here they have the district manager name and number listed on the board behind the counter (right next to where the new releases are listed). A long time ago I had a problem when one of the discs I rented got stuck in my player (back then they were around $400 for the cheap ones). Come to find out it was one of those black strips they put on their discs at one time. It came off the disc and knackered my player. After talking with the manager and getting nowhere, I called the district manager. My player was replaced by Blockbuster and I got 10 free rentals.

Unfortunatly I used to work there, but my assistant manager and myself thought of the customers first and we weren't D-Bags to anyone unless they deserved it. Anyways they probably dont want to do it because when they refund or credit your account somehow it comes out as a negative on the sales at the end of the week. It's not your fault. It's just stupid how BlockSuckster works.

But yeah call the Dist. Manager and give em' a piece.

send in a complaint.. you'd be surprised how well they actually work i never used to bother until my cousin convinced me to do so whenever i had a problem.
