It wasnt too complicated. They tried to make it appear more complicated than it really is. Thats what bugged me. Plus, they over-explained things.

It wasnt mysterious enough.....you could tell where it was going the whole time.

Inception = Good movie, but not mind blowing imo (and this is from someone who really wanted to LOVE the film).

Not everyone will enjoy Inception (myself included) and you'll have to get over that fact. Does it mean they're stupid, moronic, less intelligent, hairy neanderthals who live in caves? Absolutely not.

. Next thing you'll tell me is everyone died when the screen cut to black on The Sopranos. Point is, you don't know for a 100% fact what really happened.

Which brings me to my final point.....so get ready for a non-sci-fi mind heist below!



1.) The people who truly don't 'get it' are the ones who already have their mind set as to what was real and what was the dream state during the entire movie.

2.) There are so many different variables that happen throughout the film which makes you debunk something you thought was 'real' the minute before and vice versa.

3.) Nolan's entire point of the movie is this: For you make up your own mind. To talk about it, to theorize it, to jot down for everyone else to read on das internet.....but not to make others feel like they "have their heads up their rears".

All that said and I thought the movie was boring. Sheesh! Imagine if I liked it, you'd already be making breakfast in bed for me, sweet pea.

I do not expect everyone to like it that would be dumb. I am glad you did not like it, some people say they like thing to fit and others say they do not like things to be different. Then some are just honest about it.

I completely disagree. Movies that are very complicated are not "wrong." Example: Last Year at Marienbad. The complication and ambiguity of the film is its entire purpose, and it makes it what it is. Some movies simply try to be too cute and take themselves too seriously, to the point that they either leave big plot holes or are simply an example of trying too hard.

Internet ratings are irrelevant, just like imdb ratings are. TDK is not even remotely a timeless classic. Matrix is far more likely to be remembered in the future than TDK, but neither are classics or timeless. It's wayyyy too early to give them those titles when time is what determines what is and is not a classic. Masterpiece is a word that is thrown around much too often, as is epic.
