My 805 is still strong. I kind of need to update the firmware- got a new PS3 slim and was bitstreaming and got the DTS bitstream bomb. I ended up switching back to multichannel (no difference anyway).
I have updated firmware on computers, tv's, routers, modems, etc across the board, and only the 805's method scares me. It's just a weird way that I can see getting screwed up really easy, and I'm way out of warranty obviously. With that minor caveat I love my 805. Those of you that still have it- had any problems with the display? I had to replace the resistors as one of them blew a few months back. |
