No offense taken man. I have my reasons for not having a big collection of movies. The biggest reason being I'm in Afghanistan right now and after that I go back to Germany. But my wishlist is very huge and I'm looking to get some classics. Especially some Alfred Hitchcock.

Nice collection. I am not sure what to rate it, however, if you are in Afghanistan, I assume you are in the military. For your service to our country, I sincerely say "thank you". You are truly a hero... and for that you get 10/10.

Thanks! It means a lot. Just wait in a couple my months my Blu-ray collection will be pure awesomeness.

10/10 for you though. You have the Original Clash of the Titans, Princess Bride, and Star TrekPlus more but those are my favorites

That's a great assortment Pirate King. Maybe could do without Beverly Hills Chihuahua? Lots of movies for all ages with a nice mix of genres. You must have kids!

I didn't even look, but noticed you had 75 Steelbooks..... I don't own any, and don't plan on getting any (I think I actually bought one on DVD by accident about 5 or 6 years ago) but I gotta say, I always thought they were a really cool thing as far as 'collectability' is concerned.... especially when you have a lot of them....... You get a "sight-unseen" 10 based solely on Steelbooks!

That is a collection, and not just "The Blu-rays someone owns"

As you said to sconde...you yourself have a true collection in Criterion films. I wish I had more Criterions. I've been wanting to get Secret of the Grain, but no one had it here where I live. You're collection is nothing short of perfection.

Sagacious I give your collection a 10/10 based on size alone. Its very diverese and full of lots of different genres. Lots of great films as well. My collection has shrunk recently as I just sold a bunch of stuff I didnt want and took down the blus I have on order(there is allot of them)

Nice collection, very nice, you have a number of titles I have wanted to check out.

Bonus points for the animation, Pixar, Target exclusive Trek, superheroes, and WHAAA?!? You manged to get the 80s Transformers on Blu, impressive indeed. I would recommend the DCU films, the newest being Red Hood(I loved it), there was definetly an element of horror, which is not for me. All in all impressive, missing a couple I would recommend but hey, to each his own,
8.5/10

Kennedy, that's a nice yet small collection you have. Some interesting family oriented films. 7/10.

That's an interesting collection you have there SethRex, and so very different from mine. I think you need a few good classics and some imports, perhaps even a concert or two to balance it out more.

A solid 8/10

John72953.

You love your concert blu's I see. We got quite different tastes, but considering how passionate you are about your music, I'll give your collection a solid 7.5/10.

Some good movies but there's a lot I wouldn't dream of getting. Still a fine collection.

7/10

Not a 10/10 to be seen here! I say that's the way to rate collections. I know none of us want to give low scores, but the proliferation of 10/10 scores is rather pointless IMO.

I'll give you a 5/10

You love Concert Blu-rays (I do too) but I gotta say..... There is no way I could listen to some of those 'artists' let-alone watch an entire concert of theirs! I respect the fact that it's your thing though

EDIT:

I'd give you another point for NOT owning Shakira, Beyonce, or Mariah Carey, but you're missing "Stop Making Sense" which is probably my favorite concert currently available on Blu-ray....... (Followed closely by the Clapton/Winwood MSG)

I've actually considered some imports, as I definitely do have some in my collection, but with no job and money I do get being tight, they will have to wait. I might try to get into some concerts as well.

Thanks for the additional point Beta!

I do have an over-abundance of Concert BD's for most people's liking, so your rating for mine is probably a fair one. I've been rather lax in buying Blu-ray's as of late. Soon I hope.

I'm gonna rate you a 6/10. Not because I don't like the movies you own, because I do and there is decent representation of genres...but.....you only own Criterion releases. Why is that btw?

John
