best customer service at gohastings.com

All i can say is go hastings.com has the best customer service of any company i have seen in a long time. I ordered percy jackson on blu previously viewed. on the website it said it came as a combo pk but the one i got in the mail just came with the blu ray in an eco blu case, and the artwork on the bottom says rental exclusive in yellow. so i called customer service and explained to them the situation, they told me they would mail me the combo pk free of charge and on top of that to keep the rental exclusive which made me happy

I would so shop at go hastings.com anytime from now on

weird when they shipped me the wrong version of Prince Caspian all they did was give me a prepaid label and have me return it

which was good overall I got refunded but I would not have called it great customer service

I've had some good experience with their customer service, but a lot of bad, too. Their website ordering system is subpar, and I found their CSRs to be inconsiderate and uncompassionate. just a counterpoint (since you posted in the wrong forum) ;p

The main thing I was pissed about was the fact that orders placed after mine were filled.
They seem to have canceled them at random.

It's especially impressive since they sent you what you ordered. Previously Viewed is different than used. Used are the retail versions that people have traded/sold to them. Previously viewed are the rental versions, including barebones releases if that's what was rented out.

the lady on the phone was really nice about it as well, didn't even think twice about it, like i expected her to tell me to return the barebones one, and not to keep it

I've only had one experience with their customer service, and it wasn't good. They were supposed to refund me $5 for a blu that I returned (it looked like someone took a razorblade to the cover), but I never received a refund. I emailed them twice and never heard back from them

Sh!tty if you ask me, but I'm glad some of you guys have had good experiences

It sucks to hear so many bad experiences. I for one have had nothing but good luck with them. To all of those that have had a bad time with them, just keep going up the food chain until you get what you want.
