I saw this at the cinema. It is definatly in the top 3 worst films I've ever seen in my entire life, and I've seen a lot of films. An absolute atroscity to cinema.

I'll definitely be looking to get this - hopefully it's out around the same time as the Alien boxset. Haven't seen Predators yet although I'm told it's not too bad.

I have to disagree on that point.

In Predator you have a team of Soldiers who are a well oiled machine, they're very much used to being involved in combat situations together.

In Predators you have a group of people who are thrown together and have to try and survive through the situation.
Yes some are used to combat but they don't exactly know who they can trust.

Does anybody know whether they are planning on releasing Predator and Predator 2 Triple Play Edition's separately?

As I have pre-ordered Predators Play.com Exclusive Steelbook and do not want to have to buy a box set containing the same film.

I have not purchased the first Predator (or number 2) as I heard so much about how bad the transfer is (the first release being better than the new Ultimate Hunter Edition).

Does this box set contain a new transfer of the first film? Or is it going to be the Ultimate version packaged with a DVD copy?

I doubt they'll release Predator and Predator 2 again in TriplePlay format - they'll reserve them for the trilogy boxset. Predator has just been re-released (UHE) as well.

I think the boxset will contain the new disc/transfer because AFAIK, my original Predator release has no bonus features. hmv and Play state the version of Predator in the trilogy boxset has bonus features that match those of the UHE. If you want the older release of Predator, and Predator 2, then the Predator 1 & 2 double-pack is for you. It's expensive at the moment though. I picked up mine from Amazon a few months ago for ~£15.
