The Road
**

What a snoozer. I'm not going to even compare it to the book, as it is impossible. As for the movie, every five minutes we had to have some poignant monologue moment, which became tediously contrived. I started to not give a damn as to what happened to them.

I'll stick with Testament (1983).

First negative review I've seen thus far. I take it you've read the book?

A-Team

It's loud, fast & fun but mostly too stupid for me. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood, maybe I got tired of some of the incomprehensible action scenes that were edited by a seemingly clueless person. But the characters I liked except for.... wait for it.... Jessica Biel's! There wasn't a single scene with her with bikini on or something like that
[Show spoiler]I'm kidding about my reasoning
, only a redundant love story side plot. But take it for what it is it's a fun movie.

5/10

Death at a Funeral 2010 - Man I was disappointed by this film. It wasnt to funny at all. I mean it had a moment or two but that was about it. I thought it would have been a lot funnier with the cast they had. I also think Martin Lawrence is much funnier on his own and when he lets loose and in this film he just played some regular guy. Thats not the Martin I am used to.

Film Rating - 2 1/2 stars (out of 5)

PQ - 4 1/2 stars (out of 5)

AQ - 4 1/2 stars (out of 5)

Got Em!!

The animation style, or "look" perfectly matched the gritty story. IMO

I was very engaged the entire time.

There’s something about this film that just totally prevented me from giving my undivided attention. I can see that it has a high production value, plenty of swashbuckling action, quality acting, some amusing comic scenes…but much of it just felt dumb, like another typical Hollywood adventure. I think the biggest things are: the photography seems very plain, the plot seems uninspiring, and the comedy falls pretty flat. I think the story drags in many spots, and the pacing seems rather uneven. So in the end, nothing really grabbed me the way other silly blockbuster-style adventures do.

One funny thing though: they totally ripped off a line from “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” (or is it homage ):

“It belongs in a museum!”
“So do you!”

Meh…

3/5 (entertainment: 3.5/5, story: 2.5/5, film: 3.5/5)

Wait, is this the sequel? I should have watched the first movie first!
It just didnt work for me either.

The first, Mask of Zorro (1998), however, had the needed magic and chemistry. I really like it a lot, enough to own it. Tons of adventure and just the right mix of fun.

Being John Malkovich 4.5/5

An interesting story with lots of good ideas. I enjoyed watching it all unfold and liked all of the acting.

Inception again

I've done a pretty good review already, somewhere in this thread. I'd just want to say one thing, someone said it didn't need to be so complex somewhere in this thread and I can't remember who. I almost started believing that, but after watching it again, the film wouldn't be as fun and memorable with out it.

10/10

Hey this movie was good. I gave it a 4/5. It was better than the Expendables to me. Better script, better acting, and way better comedy.

The Road was intense and very very good. No movie has ever touched these grounds and not only do i respect the film, i thought i was just the cold hearted truth that some people wouldn't want to think about. I gave it a 4/5

The Godfather

Do i really need to write a review? This film is probably the marker for great film making. Acting Superb, Story Superb, Cinematography Perfect. Now im not saying all this based on my fanboism . The movie is down right PERFECT.

This is how business should be done, no one is more important that family, honor and respect over all other morals. Damn this is pure and uncut respect and loyalty. This is a true Masterpiece and has lived up to its reputation.

MUST OWN

5/5
