Seriously, there are some things to consider obviously, but a projector makes movie watching much more of an experience or event than it does when watching it on TV, regardless of type or brand.

So, how high is that ceiling between the 2 back surrounds?
Mounting from the ceiling is probably not an option. It's an A frame, and is quite high. I think I was anticipating some type of bracket shelf close to the curtain rod? It would take some engineering, but I don't know if anything else would work. With the window extending up like it does...there's not a lot of options.

check out this link for a mounting bracket that comes out from the wall instead of down from the ceiling. it might be a possibility to mount above the middle of the window and aim on a sight downward angle, depending on the screen position. http://www.htmarket.com/pwa.html

That is a challenging setup for sure. If you want it bad enough, anything is possible.

One thing I learned quickly is that your end result is always the product of compromise.
Don't worry if you need to adjust your initial plans!

Can you provide any other photos of the whole room? How far is it from the window behind the sofa to the screen?

Good luck, fellow Buckeye.

Window to screen would be 12-13' (ballpark).
