Samsung has two different types of glasses that I'm aware of. The ones that come with the kit, Which are actually really good in my opinion. They may seem a little cheap because of the light weight plastic. But that is a good thing since that makes them comfortable to wear. Just be careful not to step or sit on them. Don't leave them laying out when not in use.
They make another pair that are probably slightly better. They are the ones they use with the demos at the store. The lenses seem a little bigger, and they are rechargeable. They cost like 50$ more and you can order them off the Samsung website. I think it's probably better just to have a replaceable battery. The battery lasts a long time, and if it goes dead in the middle of a movie you can quickly change it out and you're back in business. But I've not tried the rechargeables at home, so I can't say for sure that one way is better than the other. If I were you I would do like Jimmy Smith advises. Go with the starter kit and get the How To Train Your Dragon movie. I'm planning to do just that myself, actually. I got the first kit for free with Monster vs Aliens, and I'll be buying this new one in October. Last edited by Lovemy3D; 08-27-2010 at 07:10 AM. |
