War movies can be so much more than just mindless destruction and entertainment. I'd rather see another Saving Private Ryan, Iwo Jima, Stalingrad, Enemy at the Gates, Black Book.....than another Pearl Harbor any day of the week.

The 3D is fine to me, as long as it's in it from the start of the project and not just tacked on and as long as we get a choice between 3D and 2D.

Crossing my fingers for this project to get a worthy director.

Enough of the movies depicting WWI or WWII "GROUND WARS" , it's time we come to see some heroics of our men in action, out at "SEA," during WWII.

If Warner Bros. could aquire the likes of Casey Affleck, Billy Crudup, Terrence Howard, Hugh Jackman, Hugh Laurie, Jesse Metcalfe, Bill Pullman, Kurt Russell, Liev Schreiber, Donnie Wahlberg, and Tom Welling, this movie could be as epic as SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

1969 "Sudden Squall" The USS de Haven (DD-727) provides anti-aircraft and anti-submarine protection for the carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) while on Yankee Station, an operational staging area just off the coast of North Vietnam. The winter monsoon in that region is characterized by consistent heavy clouds and rainfall that make operations difficult.

I've always loved this painting, even though it embarks the Vietnam Era, I've always thought of it as time standing still, during WWII, everytime I see it.
