There are some old pics floating around in the HT Theater photos forum. I've been battling some illnesses, but I'm doing alot better. Currently my system is changing and I don't want to put pics up until they are finished. Chris38 was over my house last weekend and watched Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief and demo'd the ANs/Snells. I've heard his Quads also - very nice! He saw that I put acoustic tile up (only to have to take it down because now we are going to paint the theater). I've also gotten rid of my wall unit, and added a DCX2496 to my system, oh and added presence speakers as well.

Yes! You immerse them in snake oil and then plug them in to the speakers!!

So if I didn't understand what he meant, then I apologize, but I would think in all that I have read and heard, that they probably have very good time/phase alignment in comparison to other speakers in their respective price range.

I guess we could as Mick at Dynaudio USA to ask the engineers and let us know.... if we really want to know the answer to the time/phast alignment question.

Like I said, my idea of what Coherency was and my use of it was different.

Well...You were talking about the descriptive meaning of coherent as far as sonics, while BD was thinking more on the technical and engineering aspect.

right, because I don't care how the speaker get to its end point technically, I am not making a speaker, I am listening to it, so yes, I am describing its sonics, detial and texture.

Coherent = logically consistant

Is "lucid" or "Articulate" already a speaker technical term or would that be an approved word to use?

That is a good deal on special 25's. I think they are going for that much used off Audiogon. Actually all of those deals are ''deals''...especially if they are new. There are 75 pairs of bordeaux finish Special 25s available with a 15 year warranty for $5750 in 3 weeks (according to Mick Tillman...celebrating 15 years in the United States...they brought back special 25s this year). So if those are new at that price I'd say bring the wallet and listen to them!!!

Neither have I but those and C1's I want to hear. Those C1's are supposedly quite impressive for bookshelf speakers in their own right.
