I got the article from Game Informer's website.

They said the playable demo was running on an Xbox 360.

All of the pictures have an Xbox 360 controller in them. One of them even has someone using an Xbox 360 controller.

And like you they probably assumed the platform just by the controller it's being played with.

In case you didn't know, some PC games support the Xbox 360 controller. For demoing purposes it's more convenient than setting up tables and chairs with keyboards and mice.

Maybe they saw the 360's there? Have to take their word for it since they were there, and you or I weren't.

Yes, some PC' games support 360 controllers.

Apparently, the presentation demo was running on a PC, while the playable demo was on a 360.

this is going to be one of those games where my wife rolls her eyes @ me while playing and says "seriously??"

just like the bathroom & bedroom scenes in the god of war games.

The game starts too early into the puzzles and driving sections. If there was a way of moving the entire Casino sequence to the second quarter of th game and opening with more sustained action, that would work much better. As it is, it just feels like it's taking a while to get going. Once Duke meets up with the other EDF guys the action picks up and we are into classic Duke territory! Love the comment he makes about the Power Armour!

I don't care what the critics said, I LOVED it. It is everything I wanted in a Duke game. Not worth the $60, but I'm sure glad I rented it.

While I still play Duke 3D to this say, can't say I will do this one that often. Still doesn't mean I didn't enjoy myself, but i mean come on....even the credits are buggy haha.

Go Duke

I'm sure this game will be on Amazon for about $39.99 any day now.. its just a matter of time, i waited out Dead Space 2, and glad i did as it was an amazon deal of the day for $39.99 exactly 2 weeks after release...
