Another issue is I don't understand why Warner and Disney seem to like including 3D on a separate disc. Its similar to how Warner refuses to use seemless branching and has similarly included both cuts of Terminator Salvation and The Excorsit on separate discs when one disc could fit both cuts via seemless branching. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (with the exception of extremely mild side baring which isn't noticeable on a display with even slight overscan) delievered an excellent 2D presentation within the 3D version by extracting the main eye.

If I could speculate, it'd be the same reason every studio uses 2 discs when 1 would do. To make it look like a sweeter package?

True. I suppose its not worth complaining too much about as long as no content or quality is compromised. Still it is annoying and is a classic example of pissing on you while telling you that its rain. Making a package look better when in reality its actually worse

For Alice in Wonderland, it's as trhe 2d version is actually slighly different to the 3d release (which was again different to the imax release).

Default Wtf?

Kindly shut up about Clash Of The Titans, it may look so so in a small 3-D tv but on a giant 18 foot wide Real D Professional post system, it looked pretty darn good. So much that we used it as part of our demo at CEDIA and we were acknowledged as the best 3-D demo at CEDIA.

LoveMy3d u are the only person, other than myself, that I know who has dreams like this. Sadly I dont have them every night, but I do have them quite often. Awesome experience. I didnt know there was a name 4 them until Inception came out. Didnt get 2 see the movie yet though. Waiting for a BR release.

I dont mind shaky cam SOMETIMES. In action movies like Star Trek it doesnt bother me. What I absolutely HATE is faux documentaries. The camera is bouncing all over the place, making super had cuts at 7000 mph. Ugh. Just awful. For me that kind of camera work absolutely ruins a movie, no matter how good it is. I havent seen District 9 because of it. Ive heard its a great film, so Ill prob. still check it out, but Im dragging my feet cause of how much I hate the camera work in those fake docs. So I absolutely 100% agree with Jimmy when it comes to shaky cam in fake docs. But other movies it doesnt bother me. I think it can add to the realism in a scene with a car accident where 'you' are in the car with the passengers for example.

Don't get angry at people's opinions. This is coming from someone who has ordered the blu, I have yet to see the blu but the theatrical 3d deserves all the hate it gets. .

It's always interesting when people feel the need to defend a product. Beats me.

Cineramax, I'd dare say anything would look good on that set up. Even the flat, lousy "3D" of Clash of the Titans
