Sounds like a Good Plan. Then you could enjoy a large number of movies without paying so much for the individual titles.
Do you get Netflix and other movie services thru streaming or my mail service.

That is wonderful news.
If they plan on introducing a 3D adapter my December,I will be very pleased.

That means it may be possible to put together a 3D system much sooner then I thought.Though I will be very interested to know how much an adapter like that may run.

If its not a few hundred dollars then I could see this being a Bright Spot in my 3D quest.

I do appreciate you filling me in on this buddy.I had seen post # 16 when it was posted(and was disappointed)

Now I am happy to see that there is the possibility for 3D.Sweet!

Thank You, Fors*.I am very, very Greatful my Friend.
This has been some of the best news I have heard in a while.

I had basically shelved any ideas about 3D until the end of next year(2011).
Now it seems that things are moving at a much faster rate.Which is wonderful in my opinion.

It was my first choice until I saw that it wasn't compatible with the 3D Blu-Ray Players on the market.
But its price and specs are very good considering.

I had considered just getting a new standard projector around the start of 2011(When I thought 3D was still too far away).

Now its at least a possiblity to go with 3D.(Thanks Again)

Hey Todd, Fors*, Erict, Bill, everyone.

Glad you enjoyed that movie Todd (with Jet Li). I'm wondering if there's a connection of you mentioning the lovely young lady in that movie 2x & then mentioning your plans for chicken Breasts on the bbq a short time later...

Just sayin'...

I am waiting to see if they are going to add Netflix to the old Apple TV. If they do, I may consider subscribing since my iPad allows streaming.

But it could have been a sub conscious play on words...

The Sony BD-S570 I have has Netflix Streaming(Along with over 40 other streaming sites)
I have used it to watch some No Doubt concert footage from YouTube.

But not for any of the many Streaming Video or Music Services.I do plan to start before much longer. And we had our internet bumped up to the fastest speed available(So I wont have too many issues while streaming).

So far it seems that Vudu is the site I may be most interested in.Its strictly a pay per view site(No monthly fees)And the titles are 1080i for video with Dolby Digital 5.1 for Audio.

So the streaming capabilities, along with its SACD and 3D capabilities were a large reason for getting this player.

Another good thing about The Forbidden Kingdom is its from Lionsgate(So it has a 7.1 DTS-HD Surround Track)And the Back Channels are used often to good effect.

Not to leave out the Bass which was as impressive as Kung Fu Panda's Skidoosh Scene around the 1hr 22min mark.

Also there were two very attractive ladies in the movie. The other played the role of a vilian. But she was a hottie IMO,as well.

And its still only $9.49 for the Two Disc Set at Amazon.

Hey Landry,my Friend.Hope your Monday is going well.

No new upgrades for a while to come.Basically I will try to add some New Blu-Rays to the small collection. As well as some CD's and SACD's.

October,November, and December have a wealth of great releases I want.
Then as 2011 starts its new projector time.

I hope a compatible 3D projector. But if not I will get a new standard HD projector.

Just put it in my cart, thanks. Great price there & the review gave the Audio 5 of 5 & Video 4.5 of 5. Sounds like a winner!

You will not be disappointed in anyway. It really his a wonderful movie.
And the Video is very good.

As it takes place in a city,a forest,a desert, and the Mountains. So all of the colors were very vivid and detailed. No soft areas or too much DNR.

The Audio kicks serious A*$.Some of the deepest and best Bass moments of any Blu I have.

Its been under $10 for almost a week now,so not too sure how much longer it will stay at this price point. It does include a Digital Copy(Which is nice).

I stayed glued to the screen and took only one very quick break during the Hour and Forty-Two Minute Run Time.
