Hopefully, Sega hears the outcry over this title being on the PSP and starts developing another PS3 entry.

I had such high hopes for a PS3 sequel - if they just took the existing engine and added some cool new stuff to it, I think I would be happy.

I just finished the 1st one last night! Love the game. Anyone played the DLC?

I'm with everyone here that another PS3 game needs to be made.

Which DLC? I've played both DLC packs for the first game (and just got the one for the second game last night).

Both packs are good, but I think the Selvaria pack is more worth the money, since you get to play more missions and get to play as Selvaria.

Sorry, meant DLC for the 1st one. Thanks for the info about Selvaria DLC. I'd think the Edy missions are probably more of the same from the core game.

BTW- Did you like the 2nd game? I'm going to take a break from Gallia for a bit but plan to play the 2nd one later this year.

Yeah, I like the second one a lot, but I don't think it's as good as the first (nor are its characters as likable).

As for the Edy missions, they are similar to normal missions, but you have no control over deployment, which makes them extra challenging. You get a few good characters, like Jann and Marina (but they don't have their ultimate abilities yet), but you have to otherwise stick it out with Edy and her mediocre crew. It's still fun, but I think the Selvaria pack is more worthwhile.

The Selvaria DLC is the only one I went for, I looked up the Edy dlc online and I dunno, didn't really appeal to me because I can sort of replicate it with the main game.

I kind of want the EX hard mode just for the added weapons, but $5 is a bit much just for that...

Oh, FYI, since I actually got the opportunity to try, the Valkyria 2 DLC packs are better than the ones for the first game, as they integrate right into your main game and span a range of level/gear requirements.
