Looks like NIS America is going to be quite busy with PS3 games this coming year. I can name at least 4 or 5 off the top of my head and it's not even 2011 yet so expect more.

I wish they added some elements from Makai Kingdom to Disgaea (like vehicles - although at some point they lost their effectiveness... but I'm assuming there would be more variety and they'd be more balanced)

Well considering Disgaea 3 was originally meant for PS2, Disgaea 4 would have better graphics(not that it matters in videogames like this) for being made on PS3. Besides the trailer I posted shows a good example of what the graphics look like and they do look better than Disgaea 3.

I'm not really concerned about resolutions so much as visual quality; it was really jarring in Disgaea 3 to have that ultra-crisp HUD font and have enormously blurry battlefields.

But as you say, it does look better, so I'm pleased.

It didn’t take NIS America too long to step in and date the recently revealed Disgaea 4 for North America. While the game’s hitting Japan this February, we won’t see it out here in the west until a few months later. The company’s dated the strategy RPG for summer 2011.

Yeah I got the Prinny Bomb newsletter about it a couple of days ago, and trying to decide if I want the regular Premium Edition or the Super Premium Edition.

But am happy that I don't have to import it for getting the Fuka Nendoroid.

You can get that figure in the normal Premium Edition. Getting the Super Premium is just so that you can get those other figures as well which still makes it tempting.

Yes it is. The Super Premium has everything that's included in the regular Premium which is the artbook, OST, and the Fuka figure, but also comes with 9 exclusive figures that's only available in the Super.
