There's an HDTV version of God of Cookery out there on the Internet. It's quality is actually pretty decent. It'll hold me over until an actual BD gets released.

Would love to get my hands on a nice blu-ray someday. My non-anamorphic DVD is in terrible need of an upgrade.

God of Cookery was just broadcast yesterday on an HDTV channel here in Hong Kong and it looked a typical K&R Blu-ray just to remind everyone that the K&R blu-rays aren't that bad. If I had to give it a video grade, I would grade it as 3.5/5 - and definitely a whole lot better than all those non-anamorphic DVD versions out there.
