erm...I am afraid so by the looks of it. Reported here that it will be a limited numbered edition with a list price of 149.99 euros!!!
I hear it will be in a unobtainium tin

Just been rated by the BBFC, so now we have a release date. Only thing to wait for now is a pre-order.

So still no sign of a commentary?
Also, that packaging confuses me. Why is there a DVD in the case and how come it has a plastic case when the packaging makes it look like a digipack?

Okay, got up nice and early this morning, even booked the day off work so I could fetch AVATAR: SPECIAL EDITION.

Anyway, got home, had a little scan through discs 2 + 3 on my PS3 Blu-ray, my only Blu-ray.

And then... I put disc 1 in ready to see James Cameron's vision of Future Earth, sat back, feet up... NOTHING.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

I've tried rebooting my PS3, system updates... etc. You name it, I've done it!

Why on Earth is this happening?

Am I doing something wrong???

Thanks in advance, folks.

I wasn't a fan of the movie . It was just pure eye candy.

£17.99 is that bad, especially when you consider what you're getting and the original release was on average at £14.99.

I will eventually get this release, but probably not immediately because there are too many expensive releases as there is and I also already own the Steelbook.

Ridiculously low, I meant. For what you get, it's a steal. And I'm no Avatar fan.

Surprised at this. The original release is listed on PLAY at £27.99. Best to pre-order before the price goes up.

I don't get it at all. They're listing the RRP on the combi BD+DVD (regular version) as £34.99 but £24.99 for the special edition. That doesn't make much sense.

Do Play have a pre-order guarantee like Amazon for these things?
