I'm all for oar "original aspect ratio"
anything that says modified is not original aspect and should be taken off market because viewer is being ripped off

Yeah I agree.Every new release that comes out on DVD now has 2 versions The Fullscreen crap version and the true Widescreen version.I cant believe theres still people who prefer watching movies in Fullscreen! I'm always hearing people in stores complaining about those black bars.

It's going to be another round of making sure enough enthusiasts make their preferences known to insure the default offering remains OAR. If they want to start releasing another version with full frame, then good for them. But, the enthusiasts want the pure experience.

And that includes openning the matte, which doesn't result in the P&S issues, but still isn't the intended aspect ratio.
